The Paris Flea Markets and brocantes typically are Saturday, Sunday and Monday’s. Vide greniers are individual pop up sales and are typically posted on Wednesday.
Paris is a must for your first experience. The Vanves Market is most like a great market you would find at home, with all of the fabulous old postcards, buttons, printers type, historic letters, books and gorgeous jewels. The “real” Paris Flea Market is not a flea market at all, but a series of separate antique markets located in Clingancourt. Here you will marvel at more than 2000 dealers offering everything from vintage ephemera to Louis XVI furniture. Dealers form around the world shop here for their design clients and stores. You truly need an experienced guide to help you locate your dream and to navigate the seemingly endless rows of Louis Vuitton, Baccarat and chandeliers. Ask about the bi-annual Jambon et Brocante held on an island in the River Seine each spring and fall, for my money this is a must see event.
Provence, the small villages are filled with treasures. Your personal guide will take you to the oft hidden passages with rustic furniture and accessories to complete your very own French farmhouse. Italy
Tuscany, the monthly world famous antique market in Arezzo is worth the trip half way around the globe. Our Florentine guide will share all of her years of selecting pieces for many of the most discriminating interior designers in her native Tuscany. The hill towns and cobbled streets of Florence are filled with treasures to fill your home or shop with great joy. Travel to Siena and the wineries of Chianti, take a cooking class with a world renown chef and fill your bags with silks, glassware and of course olive oils. How much does this cost????
Each program is designed for you, including your guide, accommodations if you need them, car rental or driver, Metro tickets, trains, dinner reservations and so much more. We can arrange a minimum of one half day for 2 persons up to two weeks for 20 persons. Your first consultation is complimentary for 30 minutes. Prices begin at $75.00 per person for a welcome tea in Paris, minimum two persons. Half day in Paris: $150.00 per person, minimum two persons. Transportation and meals are always additional. Country weekends are priced seasonally and begin at about $725.00 per person with two night’s accommodation. For an itinerary only, $100.00 per city paid in advance.
